Bed in Verdura Resort
It is significantly more than a hotel, it is a very large resort, with a completely private beach, a very large swimming pool next to the beach (warning: that swimming pool is not heated, so it was quite cold in May), a Spa complex with a very nice and long indoor (heated) swimming pool, and several also very nice and large spa baths outside (these ones with warm water). The Spa reservation system ensures there are only a few guests at any time, no large crowd, and children aren't authorized in the Spa complex unless the weather is bad. The restaurants were excellent, I particularly recommend to have lunch next to the large outdoor pool, but the other two restaurants and the breakfast are excellent. Very nice room, loved the large private terrace. Everything was top notch. We had a small issue with our shower (rain shower stuck), and it was fixed very promptly. All the staff was super nice. We didn't play golf, but you can use one of the freely available bikes to cycle around the golf course, which is very nice (it is a private complex, so no external car).

Our stay at Verdura was absolutely blissful. We were extremely disappointed to leave. Everything was pretty wonderful; from the staff who all smiled with their eyes and seemed to genuinely care about our stay, to the brilliant facilities (The pool! The spa!). We ate at all of the restaurants and enjoyed every meal. I was particularly fond of Amare and being able to pick your own fish, then watch it go on the grill. My partner loved his swordfish at Zagara. Special mention to the spa ladies who couldn’t have been any more welcoming or helpful. Really lovely. Plus they consistently remembered our names- nice touch! Overall we’re counting down the days to return. Five stars, 110%, 10/10!

Bikes and golf carts available to drive around (comes at a price) Nice to have 3 restaurants with different menus, better choose the mealplans to benefit from discounts Great breakfast buffet Nice spa, with in and outdoor pool. Beautiful hammam On a rainy and windy day, we took a dance class and the teacher was great, made it fun and enjoyable

Staff were all friendly and would always help. Golf driving range was excellent. The pool bar service was excellent too. It was quick service and regular visits from the staff to the sun loungers

We were upgraded to a far bigger suite. There were bikes around the resort that could be picked up and dropped off anywhere. We thoroughly enjoyed an early evening cycle around the tarmac paths on the edge of the golf course. Great fish restaurant Amare.
